about me
Hi, I’m Stephane!
I help people align their consumption with their personal values.
Together we wield enormous unintentional and untapped power as consumers, and with the right frameworks and mindsets we can harness our collective consumption power for transformational social and environmental change. Ethical consumption combines the conceptual power of changemaking with the market power of consumption to reduce and redirect consumption for better social and environmental impact.
I am an award-winning team leader in the movement for ethical consumption with twenty years of experience accelerating the impact of teams, products and partnerships. I’m the Partnerships & Engagement Lead for Sustainable Consumption at Consumers International, a global network of 200 consumer empowerment organizations. I was a Change Leader for Ethical Consumption at Ashoka, the world's largest network of system-changing social entrepreneurs, where I developed a collaborative network of leading social innovators in the field. I won an Echoing Green Fellowship as the founder of Fosfo, a social enterprise to illuminate business behavior and empower ethical consumers. I hold a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School, where I co-led the student Corporate Responsibility Council and joined the Social Enterprise Collaboratory. My other passions include seasonal roles as soccer coach, game master and canoe captain for my three children and friends.
My purpose is to accelerate the movement for ethical consumption.
I’d love to help you begin or accelerate your journey as an ethical consumer.
Join the movement!
